An Enchanting Album
Greetings, Friends!
Blue Skies Forever is pleased to announce the official release of our friend Tim Seely's album, Funeral Music. Tim performed in the KEXP studio last Saturday; you can hear his performance here. Go to "Listen by time" select Saturday, July 9th for the date, and 6:00 PM for the time. You'll hear the last 15 seconds or so of some song before Tim comes on.
Of course, we have had an advance copy of Funeral Music for some time, its cover featuring personalized artwork by Tim himself. We can vouch for the album's quality and for the quality of the man who, in his own words, keeps "churning out the hits." However, if you'd rather take the word of a more impartial observer, a person of great learning and impeccable taste, in whose shadow we dwell and to whose beaconing light we are drawn (all of us except perhaps Shiri), we give you the opinion of our poet laureate, Science Man:
Science Man's doppelganger, John Bolton
"Your friend Tim's song, Trucker's Lullaby, while sad, is a thing of great beauty--a spark, a glow--and has helped me through the winter."
Science Man, 20 February 2005
